Lady Yelinda

Lady Yelinda Ruler of the city of Fawn, Yelinda ruled in the name of Beauty and was the lover of Jorvin, captain of Fawn's city guard. When the Avatar arrived in Fawn with his Companion, Iolo, she invited them to visit her in the palace where she presented Iolo with a stunning white diamond necklace as a gift for his missing wife, Gwenno. During this meeting, Sir Dupre raised a toast to his liege Lord British, who was known to the residents of Serpent Isle as the Beast British. Furious, Yelinda ordered them jailed until a trial could be held before the Oracle of Beauty.

During the trial it was uncovered by the Avatar that Priestess Kylista and Captain Voldin were secretly controlling the Oracle. After killing Voldin in self-defense, the Avatar was able to free the Oracle in order to save Sir Dupre. Grateful, Lady Yelinda presented Dupre with the Crystal Rose of Love. Later, Mad Iolo attacked Fawn and maimed Yelinda, forcing her to flee into the Gorlab Swamp. After being restored to her former beauty by the Avatar, who returned to her the Comb of Beauty stolen by the sorceress Columna years before, she gave the Avatar the key to the Fawn Treasury where the ancient Serpent Armor had lain hidden for centuries. Lady Yelinda rules in Fawn today, sadly over an empty city.
