The Options let you control the layout of the Search Results list. Experiment with the various possibilities to get the Search Results document you think is best.
The current options are preliminary. They will be modified and expanded in the near future.
The following options influence the layout of the Search Results:
Outline layout (default for Microsoft Internet Explorer 4)
This layout works only in MSIE 4, as it makes use Microsoft's implementation of Dynamic HTML. It is a very cool expandable/collapsible outline that helps to conserve screen space. The only drawback is that you have to wait for the entire Search Results document to download before you can use it.
List layout (default for other browsers)
The standard list format is plain and simple and displays well across all resolutions. (The results generated by a Quick Search employ the list layout.)
Table layout
A table with lines dividing the various sections. It takes slightly longer for the browser to render on screen than the List. I recommend you use a table only on higher resolutions (800x600 or more).
The options below let you cut down on the amount of information in the Search Results, yielding a "cleaner" list or a less cluttered table:
No descriptions
Check this if do not want to read the descriptions for some of the resources.
No site info
Site Information is the text following the Resource's title which specifies the site the resource is part of.
